Huh? Free Realms Has a Comic?

Yup yup!
Apparently SOE has produced a comic book based on their new game Free Realms. This comes of no surprise seeing that the game currently is holding about 3 million people captive in its cartoony world, but really, a comic book?
Who knows what the actual story is about or who these characters on the front are, but here at RezPLS, were going to entertain the idea.
The kid
We’re gonna say he’s some rag-tag, too cool, annoying pissant that gets sucked into the world of Free Realms where he needs to complete a quest to save that faerie chick. Along the way he befriends animals and all sorts of other goofy stuff, and never misses a moment to make a pop culture reference or a clever quip.
That faerie chick
She probably meets up with the kid, let’s call him Richard, and wants to help him get back to his own world. There’s probably some underlying love going on, but since it’s aimed at kids, it’ll be all innuendo. She probably does magic too.
The shrooms
Someone’s gonna have a good time…maybe that orc, look at his face, what a sly mfer.
Okay, here’s the official description

Lewis (the Grey Griffins series) for an exciting adaptation of Free Realms, their new MMORPG! Verdict?
Good try SOE. I’m still bitter about what you’ve done to SWG, amongst many other games, so I rather not voice my opinion, however, I like the idea of tying in a bit more of the story. A lot of the time there isn’t much to focus on a particular point or character within mmo’s, and obviously aiming at kids, they are trying to give them sometime to identify with. Besides all of the other stuff, I rather enjoy the art.
